Departure from the Russian Federation/ St Petersburg and Leningrad Region

Before leaving the Russian Federation, a foreign citizen is obliged to inform the staff of the Department of International Cooperation (office 347/1) about the date of his departure (write an application justifying the reason for departure and specifying the deadlines) and provide the following documents:

 - a copy of the passport;

- a copy of the migration card;

-  a copy of the visa (for citizens with a visa stay);

- a copy of the ticket; an application for departure, issued in accordance with the requirements of the University (office 345/1);

- notification of migration registration.

When leaving the Russian Federation, a foreign citizen submits the original tear-off part of the arrival notification form at border control at checkpoints across the State Border.

Departure from Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region (within the territory of the Russian Federation)

Before leaving St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region (on the territory of Russia), a foreign citizen is obliged to inform the staff of the international cooperation department (office 347/1) about the date of his departure (write an application justifying the reason for departure and specifying the deadlines) and provide the following documents:

- a copy of passport;
- a copy of migration card;
- a copy of visa (for citizens with visa regime of stay);
copy of ticket;
- application for departure, executed in accordance with the requirements of the University (office 345/1);
- copy of notification of registration for migration purposes.

Foreign students receive the original tear-off part of the notification form about the arrival of a foreign citizen or stateless person at the place of stay after providing all the listed documents.

If you stay in a hotel in any region of the Russian Federation (regardless of the number of days), you must receive the original notification of your stay at the hotel and hand it over when returning to St Petersburg (office 347/1).

In case of temporary departure from St Petersburg for a period of more than 7 working days, a foreign citizen is obliged to register for migration in the subject of the Russian Federation where he is located.
