We invite students and employees of SPbSUT to take part in the competitive selection for participation in the international exchange program "World Youth Ship 2021", which will be held from January 15th to February 12th, 2022 in an online format.
The International exchange program of young leaders is designed for students, heads of public associations and representatives of government organizations working in the field of youth policy.
Its main goals are to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between Japanese youth and youth from other countries, to develop communication skills with representatives of other cultures, as well as to foster leadership and managerial qualities.
The competitive selection of the program participants will take place in two stages: the first stage is held at the level of the Russian Federation, the second - by the Center for International Youth Exchanges under the Cabinet of Ministers of Japan.
To participate in the first stage of the selection, you must fill out an application in English by 18:00 on October 20th, 2021 by , as well as prepare and attach a video in English with a duration of no more than 60 seconds to the application.
A potential participant of the program must be between 18 and 30 years old, he must be a citizen and resident of the Russian Federation. You can learn more about the terms of the competition on the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
The events of the "World Youth Ship 2021" Program will be held online on January 15th, January 22nd, January 29th and February 12th, 2022. 80 youth representatives from Australia, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, South Africa and Japan will take part in the events. The Russian delegation is invited to participate for the sixth time.
The main topics are related to the Sustainable Development Goals:
Social problems;
Gender equality;
Economic problems;
Environmental problems.
The format of the program's events: discussions and seminars on the topic "Sustainable Development Goals", as well as presentations and seminars organized by the Program participants.
