Lecture for Vietnamese students

Associate Professor of the Department of Secure Communication Networks Igor Ushakov gave an online lecture for students of Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, PTIT, Hanoi. The meeting was held as part of expanding cooperation between SPbSUT and PTIT.

Associate Professor of SPbSUT presented a report "Information Security in Computer Networks: Modern Threats, Vulnerabilities and Defense Strategies". About 100 senior students became listeners of the report. Modern threats in computer networks, major software vulnerabilities, protection strategies were discussed during the lecture.

      Dean of the Faculty of Information Security Professor Hoang Xuan Dau thanked the speaker for his speech and expressed hope for further cooperation.

     “Thank you very much for your informative and interesting report to the students of PTIT University. Our students are very impressed with your knowledge and experience. I believe that this is a good start to our cooperation in the future”, Professor noted.

     The survey among the students was conducted after the lecture. The students expressed their desire to continue their studies within the framework of the Summer School "Cyber Security and the Modern World", which will be held from July 3-16 as well as in the Master's program "Information Security "Computer Systems Security": Education the Next Generation Experts in Cyber Security".
