Daniil Marshev shared his impressions of studies:
“Chongqing is located in the central part of the country and is one of the four municipal cities in China. The city has a population of over 30 million inhabitants. The city is located at the confluence of two major rivers of China – the Yangtze (or Changjiang) and Jialing River, which makes it one of the main major tourist, logistics and industrial centers of China.
The School's program was organized by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, which was founded in 1950. It is quite rated, primarily due to programs in the field of ICT and achievements in the field of mobile communications, optical communications and optical Internet, etc.
Participation in the summer program provided an opportunity to personally get acquainted not only with the history, culture and education system of China, but also to see the introduction of new technologies in the field of communications into the life of the city. The group included students from different countries and the training took place in a friendly atmosphere. Not only interesting activities were organized, but also an extensive cultural program.
Speaking about Chongqing, you can add the words “unique”, “most”, “huge” everywhere, and it will be true. The city of Chongqing is one of the most unique cities in China... It is here that the highest metro line is located, which passes through a residential building.
The city is very safe for locals and tourists. A huge number of cameras located throughout the city monitor every step. Chongqing is believed to have the largest number of cameras in the world.
As a student of Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems, I was particularly interested in visiting the WHuashu Robot company, a high-tech enterprise combining research, development, production and maintenance of industrial robots and intelligent industries. WHuashu Robot Company strives to create a national brand of industrial robots with independent innovations. I also note a visit to the office of Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co. Ltd. The company is the world's leading manufacturer of non-invasive ultrasound therapeutic systems. These systems use high-intensity focused ultrasound for treatment.
A visit to the Three-Gorges Museum allowed us to better understand the history of the region's development. The museum building is unique, characterized by sloping walls and a large glass dome representing the Three Gorges Dam. The museum has four main exhibitions: dedicated to the ancient culture and history of Ba-Yu, early Chongqing, the Three Gorges Dam and the wartime panorama of Chongqing.
I would like to thank International Cooperation Department of SPbSUT and the host Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications for the impressions and emotions!”
