SPbSUT сelebrated Navruz

An event in honor of the holiday "Navruz" - the arrival of spring and the New Year according to the astronomical solar calendar of the Iranian and Turkic peoples took place at the University on March 26.

The students became acquainted with the culture and customs of different nationalities.

Passing through each station — there were five in total — immersed the guests of the festival in the colors of different countries. The students created carnival masks, heard how national musical instruments sound and tried to put on a skullcap without using their hands. The students gave free rein to their imagination at the “Azerbaijan” station. There they decorated eggs as they do in Eastern countries.

The spring festival ended with good wishes, food tasting and a dance flash mob.
