SPbSUT is a participant of the fair of Russian higher education in Sri Lanka

St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications has become a participant of the fair at the Russian House in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The meeting with foreign applicants was held online on January 29 and brought together 20 Russian universities.

Several hundred people attended the fair. The guests of honor at the fair were Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan Jagaryan and Coordinating Secretary of the Minister of Education of Sri Lanka Cyril Suduvella.

 Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Cooperation Nina Zhuravleva presented Bonch at the event. Nina Zhuravleva greeted the guests in Sinhala, and then continued her speech in English.

Nina Zhuravleva presented the SPbSUT program to applicants, spoke about the possibilities of admission, including within the framework of the Russian Government quotas for foreign citizens, and about the busy student life.

International Cooperation Department of SPbSUT expresses gratitude to the First Secretary of the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Sri Lanka Maria Popova and Coordinator of international youth educational programs Alexandra Shalaginova for their support in preparing for the fair and cooperation.

We hope that events of this format will be held regularly, and students from Sri Lanka will come to study at SPbSUT.

Sri Lankans who want to study for free in Russia, including SPbSUT, could apply for selection to receive a quota for studying in the 2024/2025 academic year until January 31. The results will be announced later. We wish them good luck!
