The International student club "Signal" said goodbye to winter

Participants of the International Club "Signal" held a meeting with foreign students on the eve of Maslenitsa.

The Russian holiday seemed very unusual to foreigners, despite the fact that the end of winter and the meeting of spring are celebrated all over the world. The students were introduced to the main traditions of seeing off winter. Foreigners cut out fragments of the effigy with interest, decorated it with ribbons and colored paper.

The most pleasant part of the meeting was a tea-drinking with pancakes. International students tried pancakes with different fillings, popular in Russia: sour cream, jam, caviar and condensed milk.

This day was very interesting and really delicious!

The events of the International Student Club “Signal”, the winning project of the Rosmolodezh competition, are aimed at helping in adaptation to life in Russia and helping to strengthen friendship and tolerance among students.
